2024 Lok Sabha elections Six phases of polling have been held in the state. The last phase of polling will be held on June 1. In the last phase, elections will be held on 13 seats. The districts going to polls in the last phase are Maharajganj, Gorakhpur, Kushinagar, Deoria, Bansgaon, Ghosi, Salempur, Ballia, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Mirzapur and Robertsganj. For the last phase, the noise of the election was completely stopped today. Candidates will now be able to campaign door-to-door. According to the Election Commission, campaigning ends 48 hours before the election.

Campaigning for the last phase of polling in UP came to a halt at 6 pm today. Road shows, public meetings, processions are banned in the constituencies 48 hours before the voting, but the candidates are able to meet the public at home. He can go to people’s homes and ask for votes, but on the condition that there is no ruckus. Candidates can conduct door-to-door campaign without beating drums.

Where will the elections be held?

A total of 144 candidates, including 134 men and 10 women, are in the fray for 13 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh. In the seventh phase, elections will be held in 57 seats of eight states and union territories. These include 13 seats in Uttar Pradesh, eight in Bihar, six in Odisha, three in Jharkhand, four in Himachal Pradesh, nine in West Bengal and one in Chandigarh.

Looking forward to June 4th

The BJP, BSP, SP and the Congress have fielded their candidates on all the seats. All eyes are on the last phase of polling as this is going to be the last and the heaviest phase for the NDA and India alliance. The BJP has deployed its star campaigners to ensure victory in the seats of Purvanchal. Home Minister Amit Shah with UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Many big leaders of the BJP were present at this meet. So, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Priyanka Chopra had put all their strength for the last phase. All eyes are now on June 4.
